funky stuff

i'm lovin' this. that must be some crazy vocoder lol, the vibrato's just perfect. The bass seems a bit weird in places. perhaps some change in velocity would help this. everything else seems just right (assuming the snare drum's supposed to sound electric)

well actually, the snare is a really snare!! believe it or not, but the drums have been live recorded, and slightly edited. Its a yamaha snare (a pretty cheap one) And for the bass, well I dont know its a weird bassline indeed but i kinda like it, i wrote it on the piano and let a friend of mine play it, but then again its just a demo ;-)

It's a mix of stuff. FLstudio for sequencing. Nexus was used for the synths and pads, I have a bunch of drum samples too that I mix up with synth noises which made it come out tin-ish. As for the orchestra, it's a mix of Garritan Personal Orchestra 4 and EW Symphony. Goldwave played a part too as I could alter free drum loops and add droid effects over it. Giving it that sound you hear at the start in the background when sliced up.

Its actually being used in a video game that is a top down shooter. the level takes place inside a human bodies blood canal and your like this little nanite or ship that is trying to not be caught by these other things. its really cool.
